The park’s crowning jewel is its one-of a kind Main Event Field. Imagine attending an exciting cricket match with your co-workers at the country’s only cricket stadium in the United States certified by the International Cricket Council (ICC). How about treating your child’s birthday party friends to a soccer match, or your family to a music concert before enjoying a deliciously catered party at the park? The Main Event Field plays host to a multitude of local, national and even international games and special events. It features an impressive circular, multipurpose, lighted field, and has 5,000 covered seats and additional seating for 15,000 spectators. Once the show is over have your guests step into the state-of-the-art Field House. The first floor of this magnificent building includes a lobby, elevators, locker rooms, concession stands, and a lively main event viewing area which can be rented for of up to 182 guests. The second-floor serves as an excellent setting for a more intimate special event or company meeting. It includes a towering VIP viewing area and conference room that may be rented for gatherings of up to 26 people. The entire building offers Wi-Fi.
The fun at Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium continues as the park boasts 4 lighted multi-purpose fields for soccer, football or cricket. The park also offers two lighted netball courts with benches for spectators, two lighted tennis courts, two basketball courts, and an alluring 1.5 mile natural trail to explore. Need a break from the heat? The park offers a “Tropical Splash” water playground complete with separate areas for kids of different ages. For the little ones there is the colorful interactive playground and for the older kids there is a thrilling playground with slides, water guns and even an oversized bucket that regularly fills and dumps water on the kids below. The facility also features an instructional pool and boat rentals for those who prefer to enjoy the water without getting wet. Large, 20-foot diameter, “Funbrellas” are available for rent and will keep all your party guests in the cool shade as the party’s excitement heats up.
Central Broward Regional Park and Stadium offers a variety of convenient settings for your next barbecue catered event. The park features two large corporate pavilions with can host up to 250 of your coworkers at your next company picnic. The corporate pavilions include large grills, a serving counter, water, electricity, and restrooms. For smaller events the park offers seven shelters of different capacities with grills, water, electricity, and picnic tables. There are also many picnic tables available on a first-come first served basis all throughout this fun-filled park.
