Fern Forest Park

As its name implies, Fern Forest is one of the Broward County parks, and is home to a high number of unique fern species (more than 30 at this time). It has more than 245 acres and is one of the loveliest urban wildlife area. It is popular with those interested in the botanical life of Florida and is considered one of the richest examples of hammock, pine land, swamp, fallow field and more. There are more than 200 species of plants in this park. It is also an ideal choice among Broward County event venues because of its natural beauty and Fern Forest has several excellent party or event sites

There is the Royal Fern Hall that is a 2.3k square foot facility capable of accommodating up to 175 people. It is an assembly hall style property with a full kitchen, buffet area and WiFi. It is on the second floor of the nature center and yet fully accessible. There is also an amphitheater that is popular as a wedding venue

Like other Broward County parks, this serves as one of the more rustic Broward County event venues thanks to the medium-sized shelter available for event rentals, too. It seats up to 40 and is equipped with electricity, water and lighting. There are picnic areas, too, but there are no pets allowed within the Fern Forest grounds

Many of the Broward County parks make excellent Broward County event venues and this one is no exception. Guests will be able to access many of the park's trails and sites before or after your event, and this includes the fully accessible Cypress Creek Trail as well as visiting the less accessible options like the Prairie Overlook or Maple Walk Trails.
