Tradewinds Park and Stables was first founded in 1944 as a horse and breeding business, and its equestrian focus still remains today. The north side of the park boasts the park’s impressive stables where your guests can embark on a guided trail ride, or the kids can delight in a lively pony ride. The stables also host Equine Assisted Therapies of South Florida which provide emotional and physical equine-assisted therapies for children and adults with special needs. The park also operates fun-filled summer and day camps where guests can get up close and personal with many of the horses, or interact with a variety of barnyard animals at the Educational Farm. Butterfly World is the largest butterfly park in the world, the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, and boasts around 5000 glorious colorful live butterflies. The Atala or Grandiosa Pavilions can host over 250 of your coworkers and feature picnic tables, several extra-large grills, electrical outlets, restrooms, ample parking, and the Atala even has a kitchen with all the appliances you will need to host your expertly catered special event. Other shelters and tents are available in a variety of capacities from 150 to 30 of your closest friends. Picnic tables are also available throughout the beautiful park free of charge.
