The story behind The Rustica began with our wedding in November 2016. Like many couples, we chose a beautiful outdoor venue that offered a blank canvas for our vision. However, it soon became apparent that the venue only provided the grounds, leaving us to handle all the details. Determined to overcome this challenge, we embarked on a year-long journey to plan our dream day.

As the wedding day arrived, we found ourselves consumed by countless tasks. Setting up tables and chairs, arranging gift and guest tables, and managing vendors became our focus, leaving little time to enjoy our celebration fully. However, luck was on our side as the rain subsided, allowing us to exchange vows and dance with loved ones on the damp but magical grounds. While our memories of that day remain cherished, we realized that a more streamlined venue experience would have allowed us to savor every moment.
This realization ignited our vision for The Rustica. While we couldn't rewrite our wedding day, we were determined to create a venue where others could effortlessly plan and fully embrace their special occasions. Being born and raised in Vero Beach, Mike recognized the need for an all-inclusive outdoor event venue in the area, one that could alleviate the pressures and concerns we had experienced. With this in mind, we set out to design an event venue that would be beautiful and provide comprehensive services.

Over the years, we have crafted the perfect outdoor wedding venue, featuring a stunning rustic barn spanning 2,500 square feet. Inside the barn, you will find an enclosed, air-conditioned space that effortlessly combines the charm of the outdoors with elegant indoor elements. Our goal was to create an atmosphere that feels like home while providing a touch of sophistication. The barn also houses essential amenities, including bathrooms, a fully furnished bridal suite, and a caterer-friendly kitchen. We have also considered the unpredictable Florida weather by ensuring you are fully prepared with a rain contingency plan. Our Ceremony Site offers an optional overhead cover, allowing you to exchange vows overlooking a picturesque pond adorned with a beautiful fountain.
