Brian Piccolo Park was created in 1989 and is a 175+ acre venue focused on athletic activities. Home to a section of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail it is also one of the Broward County parks that has options for those seeking Broward County event venues, too.

Currently, those who wish to use Brian Piccolo Park for an event can choose from the meeting room with hits WiFi, video and audio gear, food prep area and seating space for up to 50. There is also a large picnic shelter that can seat up to 90 and which is an ideal option for those searching Broward County parks for rustic yet accessible and scenic Broward County event venues.

The Brian Piccolo Park also allows group gatherings of up to 250 to occur on the premises as long as prior Broward County parks permission and permitting has been done. This guarantees that the area of the park desired is reserved for the group and that appropriate traffic control, setup and cleanup teams are ready and all necessary deposits paid.

This is one of the more unusual options among Broward County event venues and yet it makes perfect sense for specific types of events or groups. Corporate sporting events or gatherings are a perfect fit to this facility, but weddings of a more rustic variety are ideally suited, too. The park has athletic fields, basketball courts, biking and jogging paths, fishing, playgrounds, road courses and much more. As such, it is ideal for those who are active or appreciate the natural Florida setting.

Do note that this is one of the parks in which loud music is not allowed, nor is there are pet friendly policy. This has more to do with the proximity to the water and the wildlife in the region.
