17530 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach, FL 33160
Just off of US1, in North Miami, is located historic Greynolds Park and all it has to offer. Originally a rock quarry, today it is an over 260-acre park home to beautiful mangroves and a hardwood hammock, one of the last well- protected outdoor wedding venues in Miami. Furthermore, the Oleta River runs on the east side of the park, once used by the Tequesta Indians and early settlers.
The highlight of the park is no doubt The Greynolds Park Boathouse, the architectural centerpiece of this historic over 260 acre park, one of the most beautiful parks in the Miami-Dade County system. Created from a rock quarry, it was built as part of President Roosevelt’s New Deal programs in 1936. Although not originally sanctioned as an event location by Miami-Dade County, the vision and requests of several brides led the County to renovate it into one of Miami Dade County’s most premier outdoor wedding venues in Miami.
