The actual site of the Stranahan House was originally used by Ohio native Frank Stranahan as a trading post with Seminole Indians. The house was later built in 1901 with the lower level was designated as a trading post whereas the upper level was used as a community hall. As his business grew, Frank Stranahan moved his business to a separate location and opted to make the house his home instead. Its unique history has earned the Stanahan House the honor and distinction of being considered one of South Florida’s few historical sites.

This beautiful, historic, waterfront setting can accommodate up to 150 guests although special considerations can be discussed for parties of 150 or more.
