The park’s spacious 173 acres contain a beautiful lake surrounded by soccer fields of various sizes for players of all ages, football fields, cricket grounds, full-size basketball courts, volleyball, a running track, and outdoor fitness stations. The kids in your party will love the two colorful covered playgrounds where they can slide and swing the day away. But, perhaps the park’s most exciting area in the park is the Regional Aquatic Complex. Families can splish and splash in the park’s water playground and take a break from the sun in the extra-large Funbrellas available to rent. Cross over to the other side of the complex and go for an invigorating swim in the large pool’s swim lanes or dive well.
Miramar Regional Park offers various comfortable shelter options to accommodate many types of events. Throw a joyous birthday party at the medium shelter with a capacity of 45 guests. Celebrate your family reunion at one of the two large shelters which can accommodate 80 guests. Host a fun-filled catered company picnic for up to 500 of your coworkers at the park’s corporate pavilion.
The park is continually adding more amenities for your enjoyment and very soon will boast a first-of- its kind amphitheater. The amphitheater will seat up to 5,000 guest and hopes to attract top-notch national acts. Guests will enjoy some of the best acoustics in South Florida in two separate seating sections, along with a relaxing picnic- like setting in the remaining part of the amphitheater.
