Vista View Park, located right off I-75 in the Town of Davie, offers something for everyone at your next catered company picnic, birthday party, or special event. Its rolling hills offers some of the most challenging terrain for biking or cycling in Broward County, or for simply relaxing as your guests gaze out at the sunset over western Broward County.
Vista View Park was completed in 2003 and has quickly become a favorite spot for many of western Broward’s residents to host their special events. The park has 272 beautiful acres, and is one of the few parks in Broward County on which biking and riding enthusiasts can truly push themselves as they climb and descend rolling hills. Want to keep that rush going? Your guests can challenge themselves on the half- mile fitness trail with its various stations and equipment for a complete work-out. For the aviation fans, Vista View Park’s airfield is home to the “Vista View Flyers” electric-powered plane club, and also many groups of registered paragliders. Imagine the faces of your child’s birthday party guests as they watch these flying marvels swoop and glide through the sky. Or how about getting closer to nature more? Vista View Park has fishing along its shoreline and piers, and even a 2.1 horse trail that circles the park and connects to other trails in the Town of Davie. Guests can also enjoy camping at one of its primitive camping sites. The park also offers two large covered playgrounds that protect the little ones from the sun, and miles of paved pathways for running, walking, biking, or skating.
Vista View Park can accommodate corporate parties, birthdays, family reunions, or any of your special events large or small. The park boasts eight shelters, comfortably equipped with picnic tables, grills, and electrical outlets. Small shelters can accommodate a more intimate party of 20 to 40 of your closest guests; medium shelters accommodate 41 to 60 guests; and large shelters accommodate 90 guests. There are also a wide variety of free-standing picnic areas, without shelter, available on a first-come first-served basis throughout the beautiful park.
Whether tackling the hills of the park on foot or bike, watching the exhilarating model planes and hang gliders zoom through the sky, or simply taking in the sunset over western Broward atop one of the green rolling hills, Vista View Park has something to offer every one of your guests at your next catered special event.
