The park’s convenient location off the Turnpike and Sawgrass Expressway allows guests from all over South Florida to enjoy the parks attractions both in the water and on land; like the famous annual Renaissance Festival. It is the perfect place to host your next fun-filled catered company picnic, birthday barbecue, or family reunion in Broward County.
Picture your child zooming down slides and tunnels with his friends at his birthday party, while the adults keep cool under one of the 20-foot diameter, 30 person, “Funbrellas” available for rent. Or, imagine your coworkers cheering each other on as they tackle the Ski Rixen USA water skiing course. They don’t need a boat! They simply hold on and as cables pull you them through South Florida’s only water ski park. A corporate party at Quiet Waters Park is the only party that could include slaloming, wake boarding, knee boarding, and other amazing water tricks all without waves. Your guests’ water adventures don’t even have to end there! The park also offers kayaking, paddle boating, canoeing, and fishing.
This Broward County Park also offers many exciting adventures for land lovers. Your guests can strap on one of Go Pro cameras available from the bike rental shop and tackle the rigorous 7.1 mile mountain bike trails. Challenge your friends as you shoot hoops at one of the park’s basketball courts. Become a treasure hunter using predetermined coordinates and your GPS on the park’s Geocaching course. Geocaching is a fast growing world-wide treasure hunt where coordinates are used to find hidden “caches” which can be real or virtual. Your guests can explore the natural wonders of the park’s 3,500 foot nature trail adorned with tropical plants and interesting native wildlife. They can continue their wildlife adventures as they learn all about various majestic species of flight in the Harbin Bird and Butterfly sanctuary. Get even closer to nature with an overnight camping trip. Imagine a kids’ slumber party in their very own teepee! The park offers tent and teepee rentals at camp sites complete with grills, picnic tables, showers, Wi-Fi and more.
To accommodate parties large and small the park has one interpretive shelter and two small with water for up to 36 guests.
